...... we are 2pts worse off than last season, just goes to show what we were up against. it's tighter than last time out. we must hold our nerve & not collapse again.
glad we have the poohheads @ home, but my concern is 'borough away......
8 games to go, 4 home 4 away. will 4 wins and 4 draws be enough?
after 38 games ........

I’m working on the assumption that Burnley win all remaining games.
Therefore that means we need 7 wins and a draw to 100% guarantee promotion. I am going on that and will adjust our aim when or if they drop points.

What makes you think they will win all their games? Maybe not lose any but they are draw specialists!

No Burnley wont win all their games but neither will we.
Sheff Unt will I think clearly and deservedly take the title, due in no small part to a lousy decision made by our owners in the summer. Our failure to get the Gus Hamer deal over the line.
He clearly was up for it back then but now probably happy he stayed there. Just look again at his performance last night and compare with our sadly lacking midfield.
We have cried out for a number 10 since Pablo and let Hamer slip through our fingers. So we suffer and they gain enormously. We continue to be hopeless at corners and even worse at free kicks, we have nobody capable, what a difference he would have made.

I’m going on worst case scenario. Then adjust what we need based on any points dropped by them.

Clearly 🤷🏻♂️
Win today and were above them with miles better goal difference.
Plus they still have to go burnley.
Had loads of close games, and got some luck in a few game.
Regarding Hamer, we wanted him, they didnt want to sell to us, what can you do 🤷🏻♂️ Would have been a great signing.
Plus, there would have been an issue about where to play

Farke would probably have played Aaronson instead of Hamer, even more frustration.

I don't think it would be more frustrating.
We already have the players that should send Aaronson to the bench at least.

Hamer has literally said he wants to play off the left 🤷🏻♂️

Ahead after 90 mins and can't defend the rest of the game AT HOME.
Burnley: last 6 games, won 5, S U last 6, won 4, Leeds last 6, won 2. Says a lot.
