It's unbelievable how bad a season this is looking for us and our egghead owner.

Aside from the obvious awfulness from us all season in the league, you've got a former manager of ours who we sacked after 10 games, doing with a team that finished 17th last season what we haven't done since peak Poch. On top of that you've got our other former manager challenging for the league in Italy. You've got another team who hadn't won anything for 70 years win something before we have in our search for another trophy, and potentially a different team to do the same in the FA Cup. To not even reach an FA Cup final for over 30 years when we used to pride ourselves on being a cup team is a disgrace.

Only a miracle can save this season from being an utter shambles.

When you say how bad, what exactly do you mean? Have Spurs been winning trophies for the past 40 years on a regular basis. The answer is NO. So it's a normal season.

Levy may not get everything right, but he is one of Spurs best ever Chairman. He runs the club properly. He has also given every manager plenty to spend.

Do any of our fans think if Spurs were to get a new trillionare owner, they could just spend spend, spend? As Devonshire has said that ship has sailed.

When you started watching Spurs Ted, they were in the 2nd division, and had several finishes of 16th, 17th, 18th in the old first division in the 1950s. So don't make out finishing low down the table us something new to you.

1949/50 season....Spurs won the second division, and were promoted to the first division.
Next season, 1950/.51 Spurs won the first division!!

Never been done since.... No, when I was a lad Spurs were not languishing, not with the great push & run team they had then..

Not wrong at all Ted. Yes I know they won the League 50/51. But you don't seem to know the Spurs finishes in the 1950s.

1952/53 10th
1953/54 16th
1954/55 16th
1955/56 18th
1958/59 18th

Mixed in with a couple of 2nd places and a couple of 3rd places the 1950s were a strange period for Spurs.

Ted though does not appear to know his history. He is not alone. Most on this board are clueless about Spurs history, prior to the 21st century.

Normality means something regularly happening. We haven't finished bottom half for 15 years, so in recent history, no it isn't normal for us. Considering we finished 5th last season as well I'd say it looks even less normal.
