...so when Osimhen gets injured we can play David. When David turns out to be schite, we play Delap. By the time we've overplayed Delap, with a bit of luck Mason Mount will be back from his mysterious Swiss sanatorium to play as a false 9.

Delap would be an exciting signing. The other alternative in the PL at the moment would be Strand Larsen who is on loan at Wolves. They have an obligation to buy if certain clauses are met but as far as I'm aware, the details of that are not public.

Osimhen would of course be amazing (on paper at least) and maybe his wages wouldn't be such a stumbling block if Rashford, Sancho & Casemiro are moved on this summer.

He's scored 8 goals in the CL alone this season for Lille. That's more goals in the best competition in the world than our forwards have in all comps. 😂
