The Sun

So Southampton relegated and the Sun saying we are looking at Russel Martin as our next manager. I realise its probably the Sun fishing but if RVN goes/is sacked who should our next manager be? Should we also do a chels ki and sell the women's football team to make a profit and if we did would the money get spent on defenders oh and a good forward and maybe some midfield. But hey I'm getting away from myself and assuming we will be relegated which we won't.

What’s Sean Dyche up to, he’s the manager you needed.

The most obvious KPFC appointment ever. Ticks every single box, so it feels like it's bound to happen.

As in stubbornly insisting on trying to play 'Man City lite' even when it's blindingly obvious that you haven't got the players to do this and it just isn't working?

Sounds like a perfect fit.

Basically, he's the perfect manager for KP and I would be very surprised if he is not our manager next season. I would prefer Danny Rohl but Martin just feels like the overwhelmingly likely choice.

I am very open to possession (with purpose) based football, but his Southampton team last year was like a slightly poor imitation of Marescaball. I had sympathies with Enzo for the largely negative fan reaction, particularly when we were doing well in the league. But a fanbase that never took to Enzo is going to take even less well to Martin, particularly with the anti-KP sentiment becoming much stronger than last season.

So yes, with all that in mind, he is indeed a perfect fit for KPFC.

Even Pep has admitted the Man City way is no like get working and fast breaks on the transition with pace through the middle is more successful.

We apparently tried to talk to Rosenior who would be the type of appointment I’d want. Martin would be a worrying appointment.

If we get the summer wrong we really could sink like a stone.

Russell Martin would be the next car crash appointment and we’ll sink like a stone. Mersey will give the owners yet another 12 months and say they’re the nicest guys in football and we should back them to turn it around.
