Spurs 2025/26

OK, so it's going to take a miracle for Ange to keep his job.

So lets assume he goes.

We have £75m to spend, plus any sales:

Richarlison, £20m
Gil £8m
Solomon £15m
Bissouma £15m
Hojbjerg, obligation to buy triggered at £17m

So potentially £75m to be raised from sales.

£150m overall

Loans of Werner and Tel ended.

Vuskovic (18) coming in from Westerlo to begin his Spurs career.

We have a £21m option on Johnny Cardoso (23) (DM), from Betis.

So.......

Who are you picking as our manager?

And how are you spending that budget on the squad, and on who? Be realistic on value

You’re as good as your strikers and you’d have been nowhere near the top two in the league without Kane.

Spurs scored 70, so in that season alone he achieved about 43% of our goals.

in 2022/23, we didn't have Kane, and Spurs scored 74 goals.

How can this be? Apparently, without him we would not have scored as much yet last season and probably this season we will have scored more. But weirdly done worse in the league.

I wonder whether a teams performance is more than just the outcome of the performance of just one player

Well it just goes to show that a team who can be the second highest scorers in the league can sit 14th.

It's kinda as if the coach also has to get the defence and midfield functioning properly to have a successful team, rather than just relying on one guy scoring a ton of goals.

We're not 14th because we have no Kane. We had no Kane last season and did better than we did in Kane's final season when Kane scored 30!
