Benny White White White ..Benny White White White!
Lol.. listen I love Benjamin White...but I'm afraid Jurrien Timber IS Arsenal's starting RB from here on out, yes, there WILL be more than enough games for the both of them with all the games being played in modern football..but my goodness!...Timber LOCKS DOWN the right hand side of the pitch to a level that White simply doesn't!
Ironically, I still think that Ben offers us more offensively...but.. I'm not willing to trade that for the defensive sturdiness and aggression we get out of Timber, we're the best defensive team in the world...and Timber is a major reason for that.
Jurrien Timber is HIM!

I think timber should play all our big games, his ability to keep his winger on lock is something special. I've only really seen tomiyasu do it, but that lad needs to be donated to medical science or something.

It's all about options but I'd say first choice back four is White (rb), Saliba, Gabriel, Timber (lb)
Though I really do love MLS, amazing talent but as you say plenty of games for them all, especially with our injuries

Did you watch that game last night bro? In what world is MLS getting dropped now?? Lol...it ain't happening! MLS...(like Timber)...IS Arsenal's starting LB, he's fit into that "inverted" role that Mikel adores like he's been doing it for his entire life! Which means no...Timber HAS to stay on the field and therefore Ben's the odd man out, it is what it is...levels

MLS is a brilliant player yeah, probably the most talented defender to come through the academy in my time (mainly aiming that at Ashley Cole).
But he's 18, still learning, still makes a few mistakes here and there so no need for him to play every game and it seems quickly people have forgotten just how good Ben White is.

Yes...he's 18..and he WILL make mistakes! But what I'm telling you is that he's not getting dropped brother!
He's Mikel's "guy" now..once again, he does the "inversion" to a tee, Mikel will take whatever "bad" he will have in lieu of the the overall great he brings
And no...we haven't forgotten Ben!.. he's mint!..but Jurrien Timber is simply our starting RB...he locks down the right hand side...bar none

MLS, played very well against Real, but despite his quality he was a liability defensively at LB against Fulham & he gave the referee the opportunity to give a Penalty against Everton.
MLS is a massive talent but he is a midfielder, not an LB.
White-Saliba-Gabriel-Timber is our strongest back four at the moment.

In my opinion, Timber is our standing right back.
Indeed the phrase “ Timber Penitentiary” has been coined.

I will like to see Hato added in the summer.
There is a world class DM simmering underneath in MLS.

I don't understand why people keep on saying MLS is a midfielder. He is not good enough for Arsenal in that position. But he is already playing at International level at left back. MLS is exceptional at reading the game. He is very strong and defends like Timber. MLS makes very few mistakes, in fact fewer than a more experienced Ashley Cole when he first cemented his position as starter! So why would you move him just when we have found our left back for the next decade?
And he is better than Hato! MLS is already playing on par with the top 5 left backs in the world. Hato is a year older than MLS (just let that sink in) and is playing for Ajax at a lower level.

Yeah, I don't see MLS making the move into midfield, looks perfect where he is. I think people see a tidy defender on the ball and always assume they will end up in midfield.
People even wanted Vermaelen and Koscielny given a go in defensive mid back in the day lol

MLS grew up playing in midfield.

Ashley Cole grew up playing wing. But no one thought he could even be a passable winger at Premier League level.
