Cunha and Delap

Some of my favourite Utd players of the last 30 years had questionable temperament.

Cunha looks a good player to me. Far better than anyone we have except possibly Bruno.

Not massively sold on Delap though personally. It feels like another trap yet again.

Not keen on either.

Think Delap would be the better buy, but still would prefer other options up front.

We don’t need squad fillers, we need difference makers. Buy fewer, but better players. Osimhen is right there this summer, take him and we have a top class number 9 immediately!

If we lose Rashford, Sancho, Antony, Eriksen, Malacia, Lindelof, Evans - all as expected - and no more, we’re going to have an absolutely tiny squad.

A quick count gives 21 players left, including the three keepers, the kids Collyer and Heaven, and the frequently crocked Shaw, Mount and Martinez.

We’re going to need to do volume this summer, not only because we’d be light for your average team anyway, but because a) we’ll still be left with a bunch of players who don’t suit Amorim-ball, and b) Amorim likes to use a lot of players.

If we are signing Cunha then we are definitely selling Garnacho. I won't mind that.

This. I don't think they actually watch them play which in today's internet is very easy.

Also I'll ask everyone to watch an osihmen highlight reel, I mean a full game highlight not goals and assists, you'll know why he's not what we need at the moment. Delap may not be a 30 goals a season scorer but he's built for this league, something we've not gotten for a long time in attack and only recently in defence with Yoro.

Agreed.

I can assure you that Cunha would instantly improve your starting eleven. His temperament is extremely suspect though

So was Cantona’s. I see a lot of Cantona in Cunha.

Evidently Arsenal are leading the chase and are Cunha’s preferred destination.

United want to pay in instalments which ain’t gonna happen.
