I must admit the hiring of Vinai as CEO nonetheless is very eye catching and raises many questions for myself and many others.
If he is CEO what does that mean for Levy?
What about Munn?
Who's decision was it?
He has a massive history with the old enemy so is this wise?
Does his previous connections with Arsenal really mean anything?
Very intguing indeed!

The Chairman is the head of the company's board of directors, while the CEO is the top executive overseeing the company's daily operations and strategic direction. The Chairman focuses on governance, strategic oversight, and ensuring the board's effectiveness. The CEO is responsible for managing the company's operations, making strategic decisions, and leading the executive team.

Exactly this. The executive team Lange & Munns of this world will be answerable to him. But ultimately they are all still answerable to Levy. Levy always strikes me as a very hands on chairman.
I get it’s a billon pound enterprise. But the hierarchical structure is too top loaded imo. What is it, too many cooks spoil the broth.

I agree.
It's seems to be either:
Levy stepping back from some roles he may currently do, or
Levy insulating himself from some criticisms because he has a large team of execs running most of the club, or
The beginning of rhe end of Levy at Spurs, on his own terms.
It does seem at odds with securing investment into the club. I would have thought that any one investing £1bn or more would want some say if this position needed filling. Or may be its a precursor to some investment coming in? Overall.just find the timing a bit odd.

I don't think anything can be read into this appointment, neither is it a suggestion of a turned corner in terms of progress. The only reason Arsenal are where they are is because they've spent a fortune and had some decent kids come through. Both of those things are out of Vinai's hands. If the operating budget is where it is, it doesn't matter who comes in. They'll still have to only spend what they have (rather than gambling a little on future progress) with a strict wage structure.
This appointment is nothing more than a shield for Levy. It's feckin gutless is what it is.

in Levy’s mind, he’s probably the most significant spurs signing in a decade… after all , it’s all about revenue !

Like we wanted to sign new players so we signed a new *subsequently unused* (for the most part) goalkeeper to add to our already existing 3. Typical spurs.

If his appointment leads to Ange getting sacked after a poor result today then he's already a great appointment. Not sure if that's what it'll mean though.
