In the list of the worst ever Prem managers - not just for Spurs, in total. I’m trying to think of worse managers than him and the only ones that spring to mind are:
Les Reed
Steve Kean
De Boer (I forget which twin)
Nathan Jones
Russell Martin
Dowie
Phil Brown
Anymore I’ve missed - surely Ange has to be one of the 10 worst to ever do it?
20 league defeats with a Spurs side is horrendous by anyone’s standards
Where would you rank Ange

Awful manager and isn’t this nice guy some think he is.
He’s such an arrogant twaaat and can’t wait until that P45 lands on his desk
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So many start comments with "I quite like Ange..." before going on to talk about his terrible record and I'm always left scratching my head.
What is it about the arrogance, the delusion, the cringe comments, the getting into heated arguments with interviewers, behaviour with fans etc. that is endearing to people? Because he says "mate" a lot?
Every other manager in the league conducts themselves better than this guy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There's ALOT of hyperbole here.

Ok maybe not every other manager but a large majority. Managers like Emery, Howe, Iraola, Frank come across as classy, respectful guys. Even Amorim who is suffering the same hardships as Ange isn't going off on one all the time. These are more likeable managers to me.

I get it. You like media friendly managers who are afraid to be themselves in front of the cameras.

I like managers who aren't arseholes yes.

I`m not as anti Ange as some, but he still needs to go, there are no signs of improvement and if anything we are progressively becoming worse. The way we are so wide open and easy to score against (and have been all season) is Sunday league stuff.
I do have sympathy for Ange though, he is another in a long line of managers left short by Levy, he wanted Eze & Neto, he was given Odobert & Werner etc

It’s one thing to have a thick skin and quite another to pick fights because someone asks “what was that”

The weirdest fans are the ones that start a message with "I like Ange but...". Now the 'but' we all get. He's god awful at his job. The bit I can't wrap my head around is the "I like Ange..." line. He's a stone cold cvnt. A truly horrible bloke. Jonathan Liew was right all along and a second read of this from back in 2023 comes across as amazingly prophetic...

He's so disrespectful to reporters. Totally agree with Rebecca Lowe here...

I know she used to do that job so she's likely to feel for the person in the role a little more but still, she's bang on.
All in all, aside from the fact that statistically he's been the worst manager we've had at the club, certainly in my lifetime, and I was born in 79, he's a thoroughly unlikeable character too. It's getting to the stage where I can barely look at the bloke and to be fair I've been consistently disparaging of his cocky or rude see-sawing moods, even when we were a little better. Never liked him but didn't care all that much when we were doing all that well. As it is, there's a silver lining to this, the sweetcorn in the turrrrd if you will, and that's seeing the downfall of an utter cvnt, purely on a human level.
Two more days of Ange guys, then we go again. I'm all in on Frank. Someone who can galvanise a group and unify the board, the players and the fans. He has that Klopp type charisma. Of all the names mooted, if you assume Poch is a no-go for now, he's the one I'd go for.
