CL Referees vs PL Referees

What decisions were made correctly? Our penalty was given 4 minutes after the foul, theirs was 5 minutes. Don't think VAR was involved other than checking the goals which had little doubt over them.
On-field I thought the ref got a lot of basic calls wrong (twice giving corners for clear goal-kicks), missed a lot of fouls and let some players get away with murder.

No one is happy with Webbs army. But, equally, you listen to Spanish fans and they think their refs are pro-Barca or Real, Italian fans definitely hate their refs, French fans regularly kick off at refs and so on.

Obviously, in the CL, a lot of the refs are the very elite. Which makes a quarter final performance like last night even more worrying. Surely that ref is meant to be top 8 in Europe??

ours was given and theirs was not....so in the grand scheme the calls were correct. The ref doesn't work in isolation he has a team and generally the decisions were made quickly (apart from the Mbappe dive, which may have been 2 checks for offside and the dive hence the delay)

If that was a prem ref Rice would have been sent off and no way we get a pen.......we've had too many poor calls in the prem this season, the CL is a refreshing change from the likes of webb and his band of brothers
