Champions League

Just looking at the semi-finalists. I constructed a deep analysis using various tools in my model that judges the overall quality of each league and the respective semi-finalists that represent them.

My Conclusion

PSG - 21 points clear at the top of the greatest one-team farmer's league just highlights the poor quality they have to deal with on a weekly basis. The can conserve their energy and players for European nights.

Barcelona - Should actually be committed for crimes such as racketeering and money laundering and dare I say it, child slavery. They legitimately walking to another La Liga playing kids that can't even register to vote and drive legally on the road.

Inter Milan - Italy - Serie A - Corruption and 4za (U22472). Nuff said

Arsenal - 13 points behind league leaders Liverpool in what is widely considered the worst prem season ever. Can barely register a goal from open play all season and smash FIVE past CL royalty in Real Madrid

As you can see from the above analysis, European football is at it poorest state in very very long time.

Alternatively...... Chelsea are crap and favs to win the Conference league whilst both Us and Spurs have been dreadful all season and could potentially make the semi finals in the Europa tonight.

Neither the PL or European football is at its peak right now. Far from it actually.

Maybe just enjoy your success and stop trying to convince yourself that you're better than teams from the past also. 👍

Its almost as if the financial strength of the EPL and the vast overpaying of players who now just wanna go there for a payday is having an effect on the rest of europe.......

Enjoy what success? The league is the poorest it's ever been. A team managed by a monkey could've won the league this season because of Arsenal's injuries.

The fact that United and Spurs are still in contention to win the EL says everything. Even Rangers are still in with a shout, and they're a team that is so bad right now it would struggle to win the women's SPL. And just as likely to win is Bodo/Glimt, a team that doesn't even know what to call itself.

Football is certainly a poorer version these days of what it used to be.

If you go back, say 5 years or so, pretty much most of the traditional big teams are a poorer version of themselves, leading to so much meh in terms of quality.

You make a valid point - Rangers 'women' are currently narrowly leading the SWPL which makes me suspect it is the men in disguise - not a very good one going by the pictures tbf. And 4 games a week is gonna lead to underperformance by the 'men'.

My sarcasm filter is on today my friend. Good try though.

The team in first in the PL has it's main two strikers as Jota and Nunez. The team in second is Havertz and Jesus. None of these 4 would get a kick in the great PL teams of old.

Shearer, Cole, Yorke, Rooney, Drogba, Owen, Torres, RVN, Aguero, Henry.

Haaland and Isak aside it's a very weak PL for number 9's as well as other positions too.

And Forest who struggled badly last season at bottom end of table are now in the CL spots with Chris Wood as their striker. Says it all.

Didn't Arsenal only score four?

Ignore that, just seen they scored a winner
