I always said Ange was a great manager, perhaps the greatest.
No in all seriousness that was a complete performance last night, not perfect but plenty of bottle, battle and nous - something we’re not often blessed with. I would love to win the trophy, faaaaack knows we need it. I was on the pizz last night so my memory is somewhat hazy but:
Frankfurts keeper should have been sent off - really dangerous challenge
Dom has ice in his veins to take that pen like that
VDV is incredible - that tackle of Ekitike
Vicario bounced back
From the utter lows of most of the season in particular Sunday, it was nice to see a really gutsy performance from us - credit where it’s due to Ange on that. I still don’t want him here next season even if he does win it, but credit for last night.
On to Bodo - the away leg will be tough, they’ve won every home Euro game/leg apart from one - bizarrely losing to Qarabag.
Now that the dust has settled

Tbf Bodo are fresh at the start of their season.

True, also that plastic pitch is tricky. We massively struggled against Tamworth on their plastic pitch and I think we will need a decent lead to take to Norway.

Still raw but yeah his movement is lovely and he can finish. Would trade Richy for him

They are linked to everyone - Isak, Sesko, Osimhen
They can’t buy everyone, they’re not Chelsea

I was proven wrong last night and I'm fine with that. While our chances of winning the Europa have very much increased, I still feel it's a stretch to expect us to win it but once more I would be happy to be proven wrong.
If the Europa games were all we had left I'd be well behind the team but sadly there are 6 more league games and I don't care who you are as a Spurs fan, you'll struggle to disassociate continual shiiite results in the league from everything else.

I'm beginning to bore or the PL tbh, same old year in year out. Playing against new teams in different locations is refreshing. There really should be a 'Europa League' of sorts. Get to see the world and all that.

I see us capitulation against Utd in the Final. We always do. Every single time. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and now these jammy mancunians, you'll see...
We need to remember the CL Final and turn it over. No playing timidly and playing it safe. Just go all out and do what needs doing. Besides, we started this European Cup business. It's ours!

Bodo are the Norwegian champions and have won their league several times over the last few years, they have had some decent results in Europe against some decent opposition and will be no mugs.
Their artificial pitch is a massive advantage for them and this reflects in their home results, everybody who goes there has a tough game and it will be no different for us.
Hopefully we can smash in a few goals in the home leg and go there with a healthy lead.
