beat the Frence, what percentage would we have in beating new Zealand or Australia.I think we would have more chance in beating Australia than New Zealand. But its a 1 off game if we get to the finals, anything is possible.Good luck Wales.

Captain Hook, you're right. I'm sitting in a bar in Warsaw and still a bit bitter that SA were knocked out on the weekend (robbed!), had a few too many Vodkas and wish I had some rugby to watch instead of the football they are showing in the bar. Good luck for the weekend.

Haha we have all been there mate! (Not Warsaw, feeling bitter!) I was hoping you would make it to the final, so we could beat you! But alas, we will have to beat Australia instead. Have a few more vodkas and go find yourself a Wales shirt fella. cheers for the luck, i am starting to get really nervous!

If not NZ, I'd be happy if Wales won, especially so you guys can stick it to the English! The next Vodka is for Wales!

thank you Dingbatman,as most of us Wesh and other countries who will get behind the Welsh team,we have never been arrogant in every game we have played so far in this WC.Every game is a 1 off game, past results have gone.First we have to beat France, which is a hard game that can go either way, then if if if we get passed France, who knows on the day.If we can play at our very best and with a bit of luck, yes we could beat NZ or AU.We have a team that will be more confident in the coming years.Goodluck to all sides, and even though i am welsh Wales has deserved to get to the semi finals and maybe to the finals.

I think the only feeble argument here is the one you put forth suggesting anyone with an interest in another sport cant have a valid opinion on RU. I base my opinion on more than the world cup, but while Wales have impressed they lost to SA and struggled against Samoa (who played three days after another game I think).
As for Ireland "schooling" Australia I didnt see it that way. The weather was against a running game and Bryce Lawrence is the worst ref at the tournament.
If we do have a Wales Australia final (which is unlikely) I only see one outcome which is a Australia win. The reason being is they have better players virtually all over the park. Horwill, Pocock, Genia and Beale would probably be first choice in a world XV whereas nobody in a Welsh shirt would. The scrum may be fairly weak but it isnt the issue it was four years ago. Wales will target Cooper with Roberts but he has been the target of much better centres than him. You should also consider that Wales have not met any team with a great backline like Australia, just like England who before meeting France had the best defence at the tournament. SA scored virtually every time they got in the Welsh 22.
Maybe if you want to be taken seriously you should try to not belittle any opinion that differs from your own.
I think Wales will beat France by around 10 and NZ will beat Aus by less than 7. In the final I think NZ will beat Wales by more than 20.

Give me a break your just regurgitated the news papers there sunshine.
Talking about OZ like they are unstoppable SA threw away the game against OZ and every rugby person on the planet including SA rugby people concede that while SA won the wales game they were not the better team and in fact wales took the foot off the gas. A mistake they have not repeated.
England have not been bad thus far just anonymous and average, so they left the tournament precisely when they should have and don't forget having a stupid defensive statistic only counts if you play each team an equal amount of times. That statistic means nothing when the other teams were in different groups. Get the picture? England's group was regarded as the easiest and all your statistic does is prove that. Then they met a team of professionals and the statistic took a kick in the backside. clear enough...
To blame the ref for Ireland's win against OZ is pathetic nuff said. As for the weather it was the same for both sides. And Ireland are not known for having a bad backline either so get a grip on reality.
Neither side scored a try in that game and by the way that win goes against everything you mention about stats and "when's the last time..." phrases
Cooper is a Fly Half. The centres target the fly half. thats called rugby and it happens in every single rugby game on the planet, from under 12's upwards. ??? what sort of useless point was that?
Also cooper is a liability when under pressure. they dont even have to hit him, just crowd his space and he will do something stupid.
Now the scrum. Mate. The OZ scrum was and is a massive false down. It looked like they had a good scrum but it was deceiving and Jenkins for wales is downright the best No 3 in the world and he will take the OZ scrum to the cleaners if they meet. The other points above are open to debate of course but the scrum is a clear as the nose on your face. In that OZ dont have a scrum, at least a world class scrum. not even close.

Strange as it may be to someone of your intelligence I form my own opinions.
If I said Australia were unstoppable then why did I say they will be eliminated on Sunday? Did I also say that SA were the better team when they played Wales? What I said was that they had minimal ball but still racked up more points, quite impressive really.
While England group wasnt the toughest they conceded less tries in the whole of it than NZ did against Canada, but you missed the point of why I mentioned it.
What was pathetic in the Aus v Ire match was Lawrence's decisions. I didnt blame him for the loss though did I? Might want to learn to read, a common trend going on here. The weather obviously affected Australia's running game, because that is their style. Comparing Irelands backline to the Australian backline? Hahahahaha.
Oh Cooper is a Flyhalf is he? Cheers I didnt know that. There are many gameplans, and no, not every team target the opposing 10 to the extent Wales will.
The Aussie scrum has been decent the last couple of years, not amongst the best but good enough to get by. That is all they need. Mas is the best tighthead in the world.
Apt name btw.
