We will meet Barcelona in Lisbon on Saturday the 24th May!!
Back in 2007 Alex Scott netted the only goal in a 2 legged final to give us the trophy.
A stunning 4-1 victory away to Lyon this evening has secured our place against the Spanish giants. They absolutely hammered Chelsea, 4-1 both legs, and we know the final will be extremely difficult.
Some quite encouraging parallels between the womans run and the mens. Both beat Real Madrid in the quarters to set up a semi final with the runaway leaders of France's top division. Barca could await both our teams in the final.
Lets do a famous DOUBLE - what a week it could be at the end of May!!!

Maximise attendance would be my guess. Only semi finals and final are weekend though.

Surprised they haven't moved the mens semi finals to weekends as well tbh. Wasn't that long ago the final was on a Wednesday night.

I saw the other day that the Asian CL has a last-8, single ko game tournament entirely hosted in Saudi Arabia.
Not sure if that's the first time it's been like that, but I wouldn't put it past UEFA come up with some money-spinning format for the Supercup along the lines of what Spain's done.

Yeah, a bit like the covid format.
As a neutral I think that would be better. Get quarter, semi and final done in a mini tournament type scenario. Not in Saudi though
