Bank holiday weekend kicks off with a trip to Eastlands for our in form gold and black heros. Would be fair to say that our last six games were, on paper, very winnable. Indeed looking at the 7 game unbeaten run, all of those opponents are now below us in the league. A remarkable run all the same but had the fixtures been scattered across the season rather than in this tight lump, would seem less so. And less fun for sure.
A stronger test on Friday evening then against the no longer reigning champions who are also in a bit of decent form and nearer to where we expect them to be in terms of league position at least.
Any kind of result for us would be sweet, particularly after the interpretation of the rules at the end of the last match when the offside law was temporarily rewritten by VAR Atwell for a few minutes to allow them to claim victory. And also because of the ongoing farce that is the FFP charges against them. Every day, week and month of silence that passes erodes a little more the remnants of credibility of the PL and FA.
Any way, misplaced maybe but I have enough confidence to predict we'll get the draw we were denied back in October. Seven in a row might be a stretch too far but I'll take eight unbeaten.

New - #Wolves to offer £50m rated Rayan Ait-Nouri a new contract. Big part of Vitor Pereira’s plans for next season. Liverpool have watched him frequently but Milos Kerkez is No 1 target in the position

This would be nice. Would solve one impending issue

I think the club are bluffing regards RAN.
It’s already been decided he’s leaving in the summer.

Be good to keep Ait Nouri and if they did I suspect they would offload Hugo Bueno who is attracting a lot of interest across Europe following his loan at Feyenoord.

17 year old Mateus Mane has been on the bench for recent Wolves games and Pereira sees him as a Premier League star of the future. Should get some game time from the bench in the remaining three games.

You would like to think so. That said I'd be surprised if he totalled more than 20 minutes over those 3 games.

Season tickets now available for next season. Prices unchanged from this season

The price freeze was evidently announced last summer, following the inevitable backlash from the huge price increases.
Evidently the club has taken advantage of VP’s current popularity by accompanying the invitation to renew with a nice video message from him 👍

Was disappointed that my video message from Vitor wasn't personalised .
Although the ticket prices have been held they have taken away the Wolves Cash perk which could build up to a tidy sum. Instead there's a bunch of 10% discounts, mostly on stuff most fans won't touch, so essentially 10% off merch.
The lad's just had an unconditional offer of a uni place in September so he's definitely going to miss a good chunk of next season. Will still renew his ticket though I guess for next season at least and we'll see how it goes.
