Maybe we could go back to linesmen too?
Or would Sky and the BBC have a meltdown?

It is sensible, but two things:
1. Because of the reluctance for anyone half normal to express their view on this in an official capacity, the subject has been weaponised by the right wing nut jobs.
2. Those men who have been affected by this not one iota, need to self reflect on why they’re so pleased about this news.

Nobody will be surprised but 99% wrong.
The house of cards has been brought down by a bunch of normal, ordinary, Scottish women pushed there by the 'progressive' Greens abusing gender nonsense as their lever of power in the Scottish parliament. Sturgeon went along with it to retain a majority and whipped her party with one notable defection. Lab and Lib voted with it BTW so they're not clean either.
It came to a head when a rapist 'Isla Bryson' changed his gender when it became clear he was headed to jail. After conviction he was taken to a women's prison. His only trans credential was his self identification saying 'I'm now a woman'. Oh, and cutting about in a pink anorak.
A few days of nonsense up here before he was put where he belongs.
The SC case was a long time coming preceding him but that nonsense perfectly illustrated what women were fighting against. There are separate academic studies that confirm the vast majority of trans women in the prison population are there to avoid the kicking they will get in a men's prison but also in some cases the opportunity to re-offend.
Some people cannot help themselves try to make this right against left instead of what is actually is women protecting their legal rights. You have fallen right in.
Men not affected? Our wives and daughters bloody are and for you to imply anything else is a disgrace.

Directly affected?
I highly doubt it.
You’re using a hypothetical situation that will almost certainly never affect you or anyone you know, in order to project an extremely strong opinion.
There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion, but the ferocity of it in most cases is just out of place. And we all know why.

There you have it. Winnie happy for his wife and daughters to live with the fear of a creep watching them change.
Sure, the chances are low but the issue is nobody being sure. All in the name of...well, maybe you want to explain yourself?
My strong opinion is protecting people and sticking to the law which has been clarified. Are you arguing anything otherwise?
And, in case you missed it, I'm also sticking up for the genuine intersex population.

You seem to be taking this as a direct accusation against you, which it is isn’t.
But in doing so, you’re making this all very personal and ignoring what I actually said.
If you check above, you’ll see I agree with the decision.
But women living in fear? Get real. That isn’t remotely a realistic appraisal of the current situation - a total exaggeration.
There are absolutely right wing men who will tell us how much they care about women’s rights on this issue, yet stay rather quiet on the issue of domestic violence - rather bigger problem for women in general.
Rather quiet on the issue of the dangers that men present in public.
Rather quiet on the issue on the appalling lack of raoe convictions.
Rather quiet on the issue of the gender pay gap.
You see, there are plenty of those people celebrating this decision, who purport to care of so much about protecting women, yet their actions would suggest this is more about their feelings towards the trans community than any moral guardianship they have suddenly developed.
I’m not saying that’s you. I don’t know why you took it so personally. Of course it’s possible to care about this issue in line with being an advocate for women.
That doesn’t mean I’m wrong about what I said and it is sad that this has allowed to become weaponised in the right vs left platform.

Haha Winnie, your modus operandi - throw out a lot of innuendo and backhanded slurs then claim you weren't being personal against anyone on here before showing his hand that he thinks this is about right versus left. Given you've responded to Ifarka's dog whistle then maybe you're correct and I'm just an innocent bystander. Enjoy your crusade.

A quite bizarre response and clearly you’d made your mind up not to discuss this in a mature manner before you posted.
Maybe the truth hurts, and that explains your rather sensitive reaction to my perfectly reasonable comment.
