Top 5 chase... round 35

Another big weekend in the fight for Champions League football, and it starts TONIGHT!!!

The two form teams of the division meet at the Etihad in todays fixture, Manchester City vs Wolves. A home win puts City within 3 points of 2nd and 4 ahead of 6th. However, Wolves are on a 6 game winning streak.

Aston Villa are next up, tomorrows 12:30 TNT offering finding them hosting Fulham. A costly late defeat to City means Villa are 3 points off 5th so a win is vital. Fulham are leading the race for 8th, which could be a Conference League place, so points here are vital.

Sky Sports 17:30 game is between Arsenal and Bournemouth at the Emirates. Given the remaining fixtures, a win here will probably be enough for top 5 for Arsenal - but their minds may be elsewhere. Bournemouth are chasing Fulham, a point behind, so a must win for them.

On Sunday Newcastle United meet another team in the race for 8th, Brighton and Hove Albion. Then Chelsea play the champions Liverpool. A chance for both to put points between them and 6th before Bank Holiday Mondays meeting between Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Round 36 has the following fixtures:
Southampton vs Man City
Bournemouth vs Aston Villa
Newcastle vs Chelsea
Forest vs Leicester
Liverpool vs Arsenal

Round 37
Chelsea vs Man Utd
Aston Villa vs Spurs
West Ham vs Forest
Arsenal vs Newcastle
