Chelsea play the newly crowned 2024-25 EPL Champions Liverpool at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
A fully deserved achievement over a 38 game season
We will face the humiliation of applauding the triumphant players on to the pitch. At our home ground.
But, imo this match is really about the exactly what does Maresca's side want, does this group of players have what it takes to do what it needs to do to get a result when the club needs them to be stand up & be counted.?
Imo, this is a must win game, against the odds.

Will be interesting to see how Liverpool play. Will there be a drop off after the celebrations or will they be relaxed and coast to victory?

? the possible drop off?
I cant see that happening against us at Stamford bridge.
I think Liverpool will play a mixture of The kids and the full strength squad players.
It should be imo a really good game & a challenge for this CFC side.

Slot will want to get as many points as possible. The only way I can see him playing kids is if we are cruising with 15 mins to go.
He'll also want to help Salah as much as possible to break the G/A record, so won't let the team drop off.
The only player outside the normal ones I could see him bringing in to start is Elliot. Maybe give Endo a bigger runout, but that is all.
This is a tough one. I always want to win, but as the league has now officially been done, helping the teams out that are below Arsenal with their current implosion would be really funny to see them drop to say 4th or 5th.
That would be worse than when Spurs finished 3rd in a two horse race against Leicester.
