So in the end it was as easy as I

thought it would be. Bode never laid in a glove on Spurs in either leg. And as I predicted a win last night to propel Spurs into a very winnable Europa League final. Not to disrespect Man United, but there team is not a patch on the old United teams, so I expect Spurs to lift the trophy.

Before the match last night, the usual embarrassing media and toxic Spurs supporters were out in force with their negativity .

Bodo have their best players back.

Spurs will get canned on the plastic pitch.

Bodo never lose at home on the plastic pitch in the Europa.

Bodo always win by two goals at home in the Europa.

Bodo have scored in every home game in 2025

Ange and Celtic lost 6-1 at Bodo a few years back (although WTF that had do to with Spurs I don`t know)

Oh and the Bodo Ultras, all 10 of them.

All of the above and more were the nonsense being peddled pre match. The negativity surrounding Spurs, mostly from its own fans was laughable embarrassing.

Ange and the team did a thoroughly professional performance, as they have done throughout the entire Europa campaign, under very trying circumstances with the lengthy injury list. Even last night three starters in Maddison, Bergvall and Son were missing. But Spurs knuckled down, and made the tie look incredibly routine. It is for that reason I expect Spurs to be lifting their first European Trophy in over 40 years in a couple of weeks time.

Amazing what have your best defence back in tandem does. The best strikers up and running, and a willingness to put all the rubbish being spoken about the club to one side, and just get on and get the job done. No tears at full time, realising that there is still a final to play. Ange should be given enormous respect for getting Spurs to a final, that he isn`t from all sections of the so called fan base is pretty embarrassing.

Anyway on to the final now. Rest the entire first XI for the Palace and Villa matches, bring them into the final absolutely fresh, and let`s beat Man United.

COYS

PS Spare a thought for the Woolwich, seeing their nearest neighbours reach a European final, just a couple of days after they blew their chance is hilarious.

Yes I know Spurs have had the upper hand in games against United this season.....we all know it counts for nowt on May 21st.

Two teams evenly matched. The small details will decide it. Like Spurs they have reserved their best form for the European games.

One other thing, absolutely criminal if a first pick for the final picks up an injury in training or playing some minutes in the 2 league games. Team selections will be scrutinized like never before

You were right on this one Sandy, I'll give you that

Now let's smash them mancunians and restore our former glory!

I reckon Wycombe could have given you a better game than Bodo!
Looking forward to the final given I don't care who wins. One thing is for sure, one team will have had a disastrous season!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you reach a domestic semi-final and a European Final that cannot in anyway be construed as disastrous. A team getting demoted to the Conference can be seen to have had a disastrous season.

The modern hyperbole is ridiculous.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nah, I'm not having that Sandy. If we win it great, if we lose it, it's been an unmitigated disaster. Things shouldn't swing on one game like that but that's where we are. As it stands Ange will be gone at the end of the season and that will be down to catastrophic league form for the best part of a year and half. If we win the final, there's a conversation to be had but getting to a semi and a final and not winning is completely meaningless against the backdrop of a 16th place league finish. The league is our bread and butter and the truest barometer for progress. We've fallen woefully short in the truest test.

I ask you this though - why are defending Ange for simply qualifying for a final but languishing in 16th, yet you attack Poch for qualifying for a bigger final with the club in 4th? I thought you said that getting to finals is meaningless unless you win them. You're massively contradicting yourself here.

It's all relative. Spurs and more so Utd should be batting for top four. Finishing in the bottom half of the table is pretty bad to say the least
BUT if you do win, then not a bad season after all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Stupidly you put it hinged on one game getting to the final. Spurs have had to play 14 games to get to the Europa Final. Nothing like understating what an achievement it has been.

And you know full well that the horrendous injury list had everything to do with the Prem results. You choose though to keep using the Prem as a stick to beat Ange with.

Toxic fans like you will drive Ange out, not the results.

Pochettino's run to the CL final had zero to do with him. It was laced with unbelievable luck. Ange has got Spurs to a final with absolutely no luck at all. Bug difference.

No manager in the history of the competition has had such an easy run to the final as Ange has. I’m delighted but let’s not pretend otherwise. There’s a reason why two teams having terrible domestic seasons have made the final. To compare it to our champs league run is utterly ridiculous. As happy as I was yesterday, seeing our players celebrating in a stadium that wouldn’t look out of place in the conference, it didn’t have the buzz of when we beat Ajax.
