Levy deserves praise for backing Ange when we called for him to be sacked including me. I still have my doubt about Ange but grateful that he wasn’t fired.

For once he made a call by giving Ange until the end to win a trophy and it was a successful decision. Had he not won it would have been an absolute disaster and had he been sacked earlier, who knows? But it's still ended in a trophy win. So for all the other crap decisions he's made at Spurs this was one that worked out well.

Amazing achievement and well deserved.

Seen something on this board effectively saying 'Ange has a clause in his contract that said he couldn't be sacked as long as Spurs were still in a cup competition '.

Don't know if there any truth in it.

Anyway I expect he will be relieved of his duties at season end and he can leave with his head held high.

Decision had already been made before the final. You could say he's been hired to win a trophy for Spurs. He's delivered.

I'd like to be proved wrong of course. Alternative is he gets the Summer transfer window and the first quarter of the season and is then sacked. That rarely works.
