Firstly:
I just want to start off this article by congratulating Spurs, the better side, for winning that trophy last night. Far too many articles on here have been sour grapes and not enough praise has been given to Tottenham. The best team won. The way Tottenham fought like hell to get over the line, the character they showed, was world class.
Spurs
Secondly:
I am absolutely livid still! What did I say for 2 weeks? I told everyone who’d listen that Spurs would beat us. Why?? Because we’ve got a charlatan in our dugout! This fraud of a manager must be sacked by next week without fail. To those who stand by him, you’re a part of the decay of our football club. He’s taken us to the bottom 5 and lost a final to (former) bottlejobs Tottenham for heaven’s sake! I’ve just rewatched the game and we were pathetic! Nobody turned up, embarrassing from the players, but that’s on the manager. Speaking of which… this fraud has no in game management, tactics or solutions to basic football!!
Thirdly:
Nobody can honestly put forward a case for Amorim to stay as the manager. He’s improved us in a grand total of 0 ways and has factually made us worse than when we had ETH. There is zero visible evidence of any even slight improvement and he has got to go. Move him on now and get Xavi in. If we can’t get him, I genuinely believe we should bring Ole back to steady the ship for 2 years before bringing in a top manager. Even Giggs for a season would be better than Amorim. No top club accepts a trophyless season and a bottom 5 finish. This guy would be chased out of Turin, Munich, Barca and Madrid if he pulled a stunt like this there!!!
Congrats to Spurs once again
AMORIM OUT. NOW.
FURIOUS: SACK HIM NOW & CONGRATS TO SPURS

It's going to be a really hard summer for us now. As for the game, they fielded 3 holding midfielders, knowing all they had to do was wait for us to give them a goal and then sit on that goal. What do you think our manager could have done that would counteract that? Garnacho,? Nah he was too busy bleaching his head. Zirkzee? Wasn't fit.
I really want to hear what we could have done that would have seen a squad that repeatedly shoots itself in the foot to not shoot itself in the door.
Maguire was playing (and he sadly had to). Ange got it spot on. United will give you the win, they always do
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree completely. Same thing when people criticised the idea of playing Bruno & Mount and not Bruno & Urgarte - the side we fielded was more attacking, knowing that they were going to just defend.
Dorgu was practically a striker at times. It wasn't a game for Garnacho to run in behind or counter attack, it was one for him to attack tired legs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed. Garnacho was the right option if we kept it to 0-0 for the last 20 mins. He wouldn't have changed one iota how that game played out if he started. He was a stretcher of defences against a team who parked the bus.
This narrative that the selection was wrong only works if you have a better idea for beating that 7 man defence, with our squad. It wasn't going to happen. So you bring on unreliable players with flashes of brilliance in hope more than expectation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you gave our squad Solanke + Vicario, we'd have won the game (and neither are that good)
We dominated the game, gave them nothing, but we simply don't have anyone to put the ball in the net and a Gk that's woeful.
I was honestly hoping we'd put Maguire up top sooner, as that really seemed the only way we were going to score.
The squad is poor, the system wasn't the issue last night though.

Amorim has got to.

Not many Arsenal fans can praise spurs, so well done you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs were the better side and deserved it. A masterclass in how you control a game even if you concede possession.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
which is shocking given all the world class players currently playing for Man Utd. Given that you think Man Utd have multiple players in their team that you think are the top 3/4 in their position in the world.
lets be honest even an average manager should canter the league with them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I haven’t said United currently have any world class players you fool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes you have, you claimed all these players are world class and were in the top 3-4 players in the world in their positions:
"I think:
Bruno
Casemiro
Shaw
Antony
Hojlund
Lisandro
Maguire
Rashford
Are all what I would call world class...... all of the players above are in the top 3-4 in their position in the world I would say. "

Again not something I said this season, so congrats on being wrong again

I think this article shows a clear lack of understanding of just how big a change Amorim is trying to do here, how long he's been a manager for, how bad his players are and how it needs time.
Changing from a back 4, to a back 3 is massive
Playing essentialy without a striker and a terrible GK all season
Changing from weak, counter-attacking football that won't get you anywhere long-term, to a progressive, dominant style of football is a HUGE change. And an ESSENTIAL change.
Amorim has proven he can do it, Sporting were unbelievable. He just needs some time, and the right players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mate even Lampard or Gerrard could rock up to Sporting Lisbon and win the title.
He’s a garbage manager and we have to bin him now.

Wouldn't have though. Spurs still would have stood rock solid and Bruno is even worse as a false 9 than he was yesterday. If you disagree, watch his previous games in that position...
