For all the criticism he gets which I think is harsh I think we missed him massively last night. If he was fit to start and we played Mazraoui instead of Shaw at cb I don’t think we concede that goal and I think we’re more of a threat going forward. Put a couple of great balls in when he did come on.
Easy to say now but I think Dalot & Garnacho should’ve been our right hand side. Amad was poor again and I’m not sure I like him in that R10 position.

We’re just not very good as a team or unit which is on the manager, as well as the players being a long way below the best sides man for man individually (mainly from an attacking/ end product sense).
Whichever side we pick week in week out, we are usually shiyte. Ugarte has a stinker, people say Mainoo should play, Dalot plays all season people want him out, he’s out then we need him back, Amad doesn’t suit whatever position he’s in that day, Garnacho needs benching when he starts and it’s a crime when he’s actually benched.
We’re just shiyte.

That is pretty much it - the actual personnel we choose means nothing. As a whole we don't perform well, not enough players give 7/10 performances week in week out.
It is on Amorim to get the best out of this team, but allowing for all the issues, he has still been poorer than he should have been. Maybe it's been a learning curve this season and he will get better next, but the pressure is now on. I don't think Amorim denies this so he knows what the position is. A lot of our players are similar in terms of they can be pretty good on a good day, not one is particularly better than another in most positions (maybe bar Bruno) but it's that consistency and getting a proper team performance that is missing

Dalot was his usual brainless self when he came on. That being said he’s a better RWB than Mazraoui. Should have started Amad there with Maz in the back 3 instead of Shaw.

He’s not that good.

Dalot is no worse than many of the others in that team. At least he has scored a couple of goals too.
Amorim had the chittest game last night than any of the players. Lets get that right.

Dalot is sheite. Garnacho has been so sheite, we needed to move him to the right si he doesn't sky the ball a million times after cutting in. Most predictable sheite in the game. That Mount was started was because he fluked 3 goals in 2 games (he is sheite too)
Now it's Amad that was average? We need to get relegated so we get rid of everyone because you guys forget easily.
As for Dalot? Fack me. You guys have the memory of a fish.

Most of our players aren't great. But we don't seem to get enough of them to play to what even would be a decent standard for them, on a consistent basis. It would be nice if they could have the 'Greater than the sum of their parts' adage. Too many players putting in mediocre performances week in week out.
Even when we win games, we're not often saying on a regular basis, so and so had a good game etc.

Mazrauori was awful, one of the worst on the pitch for us.
However, Dalot isn't really the answer, saying he put a couple of good ball in means little when he hasn't done that in the 5 years he's been with us. However, I do feel it was harsh to leave Dalot and Garnacho out, who have been mainstays in the side through the competition.

Dalot's the answer to a question no-one's wondered - what would a watered down fusion of Bosingwa & Paulo Ferreira look like?
I feel the need to congratulate him, it must take some serious skill being as average as he is
