England squad - what a mess!

Not just England, there's a real lack of quality strikers in world football.

Compare it to the amount of deadly finishers we had in the 90s and early noughties.

Even now 2 out of 3 of the best out and out strikers are approaching or have gone over the hill in Lewandowski and Kane. After Haaland, do we have another one close to that level playing?

If you're not including Mbappe then you're looking at Isak, Gyokeres, Guirassy... For England I guess Delap is the next likely CF?

Henderson will be useful if Tommy Tucks wants to resort to s*ithousery.

Kane isn’t a tournament player. He never shows up in the final. He’s had three massive finals in his career and you’d barely know he played.

Love the guy, but we need to find another now.

Spurs won Europe's 2nd biggest prize, so are clearly the 2nd best club in Europe right now.

Leicester won the second tier. Same as Spurs did in European competition.

Many say the Championship play-off final is the biggest prize in football, so maybe Southampton are the best team in England?
