They’re just a win at home against Cagliari away from winning Napoli’s 4th ever scudetto. I’m not suggesting we should have kept him because as we’re seeing with Weghojlund and Zirkhorst that there is a difference between Serie A and the PL but good on him for moving elsewhere and thriving. Imo he’s good enough to succeed in the PL if he ever comes back but what a great job he’s done to be an ever-ready starter under someone as demanding as Conte 👏

ETH should probably consider a new profession at this point.
Alavro joining Real Madrid, Mctominay player of year contender for champions elect Napoli and Elanga might help Forest get into the CL.

We were right to sell all 3, that doesn’t mean we’ve bought acceptable replacements.
I see Antony has scored as well.

Superb strength there. Napoli basically owe United half a Serie A title.

Inter did too! Lukaku, Darmian, Young and Sanchez.

I think we are all happy for MacT. He seems a genuine guy who really wanted to make it for us, he has transferred his best effort and desire to Napoli.

Oh and Robb, you were right about Lukaku.

We could well see McT/Lukaku, Antony and Darmian/Mhki pick up trophies over the next week or two.
Good luck to them all.

Sadly they were never good enough

They are. But United is a completely botched up freak show where even Ronaldo struggled.

McTominay was just pure cack as a midfielder (in the epl anyway). He was, however, very much a nuisance to his opponents as a centre forward - and that appears to be in any league.
The club were right to dump him - indeed they held onto him in vain hope for too long, probably/possibly because they felt (perhaps) that as a product of the (busted) academy he was an asset. Weird.
Lukaku though was the real deal as a centre forward in this league (or any league). But once again the club (and lesser-brained fans) chose to blame him and not the real cack in the squad, so they sold him. Bad move.
Even more bizarrely the kept the likes of greenwood/rashford who were just so obviously not up to it, and were never going to be up to it. Probably for the same daft reason they kept hold of McTominay for too long
