Yes another manager article, but we need to have a serious chat about Antonio Conte. This guy has now won the title at Napoli, meaning he’s won 11 leagues in his career. OK he has his flaws but the man is a serial winner- he literally would guarantee us the title if we got him in, so why shouldn’t we at least look at him? There can be no serious football fan (that’s sane), who would rather have Amorim in charge of their club over Antonio Conte.
He doesn’t necessarily need silly money or signings to win either. His title at Chelsea wouldn’t have been possible without Marcus Alonso, Pedro, David Luiz or Victor Moses. None of which cost eye-watering amounts. Similar to ourselves too, the year before he took over Chelsea they were a disjointed mess. At Napoli he’s turned McTominay, Gilmour and Lukaku into icons… again none of them cost him that much.
He’s likely to leave Naples quite soon too, with concerns over finances and a lack of ability to push on from this title.
We have got to consider approaching him. Compared to Amorim he’s the GOAT manager.

They are deluded. They really still think it can be turned over just like that.
Btw he's a scorched earth manager. By the time he's done getting us to 4th or 5th and burning down everything, you'll miss Amorim.

I wish we could just fast forward to August just to see who we have got rid of, who we have got in and allow myself a little bit of optimism that things will improve. Hope it's not too slow a summer
