What if...no more transfers??

It would be a great start but nah, need a striker and centre back. Could still do with a proper DM but happy to see how Bajcetic does. Maybe if he doesn't look up to it in pre-season we'll go for one later in the window.

Yeah, be nice to have but have to wait and see.

I’d be happy yes but if players leave who didn’t play enough then it could become a problem.

Morton is the new Nat Phillips where every summer a case is made for him but he's not good enough. 23 soon so time to move on.

Back to the original point. The squad will have improved without a doubt but if players like Nunez, Chiesa, Quansah, Endo etc leave then they will need to be replaced.

Kerkhez for Tsimikas
Wirtz for TBC

With just those 3 we will be in the conversation for "best transfer window". If we get 2 more done - probably striker and CB - then I'd be surprised if any other team trumps it. Those 3 are probably the best players available in their respective positions (emphasis on available).

I will say though that I still think we could do with an Endo upgrade. If Grav had months out, I'd be concerned that we only had ama szob and wirtz with Jones the only true cover. Think there is room for another top midfielder especially as Wirtz can do false 9 or play one of the wide forward roles. Think zubimendi could have fitted but I get that the cost of that deal might be prohibitive given it's lower necessity.

Spurs have won the last 6 transfer windows, they will be in the conversation again. 👍

Frimpong, Kerkez & Wirtz would all be great additions.
Plus Mamardashvili.

Still think we need a striker & a CB, and to sort out a contract for Kanoute.

Expecting a lot of players to leave. Kelleher, Tsimikas, Morton, Doak, Chiesa & Nunez.

Maybe others like Endo & Elliott if good offers come in.

I get the impression Chiesa and Endo aren't going anywhere.
