Will be interesting to see if he's any good.

There were several on here who thought Ange should have been sacked after 1-1 with Frankfurt, with Mason juat as able to navigate us to glory.

Now at the level below, well see if he is any good. Hope he does well

With the Mason calls it was more hyperbole than anything, from myself anyway. But I still maintain there were other managers like a Redknapp, Rafa etc. who could have got us over the line.

'could have' being the key words in your sentence

Funnily enough Harry Redknapp did get us to the League Cup final and it was against Man Utd.

Didn't get us over the line though.

They weren't 16th at the time.

Yep and didn’t win anything

But back to the article.....will benefit spurs by way of loans to WBA, so that's good....

Ordinarily I'd agree with this given where we were in the table but the odd thing is that the players seem to love Ange, so they hadn't downed tools at all. Sacking Ange mid-season would have seen an enormous drop in morale and it's why I'm nervous about ditching him now to be honest. All the noises coming out appear to suggest that he's going to be replaced with Inzaghi after the CL final but I'm just not sure it's the right move. It feels like we're flip-flopping again. Project man to glamorous appointment over and over again. If we are to see Ange move on, I'd genuinely rather Thomas Frank than Inzaghi.

Redknapp is known as a man manager though who is used to getting players behind him. He has that sort of personality, it's why he has got teams out of relegation trouble before and how he transformed us from a 2 points from 8 team to having that instant improvement and bringing us back up the table.

Izaghi is a good name but I don't know either. Not a preferred choice and not sure he is the right fit for the club but I'd have him over Ange.

To add to this, the rumour that Romero will leave if Ange is sacked is music to Levy's ears. That's another big name off the wage bill as far as he's concerned. He can say "there's nothing we could do to persuade him to stay" but secretly he'll love nothing better than to replace him with Marc Guehi on lower wages.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's garbage like this that discredits the decent comments you make.

The notion that Levy wants decent expensive players off the books is backed up by absolutely nothing other than blinkered stupidity.

Doesn't inzaghi play 3 at the back?

They were a very good watch in beating Barca. It was the to toe rather then defence vs attack

I think most Spurs fans scoffed at the Enrique when he was linked but he's turned out to be top class.

Romero is gone and I believe levy would make him joint top earner at the club or the top earner to sign a new deal

The fact he has now said he is happy but his family isn’t in England was the nail…..it’s now just how much we get as he wont sign a new deal

I don’t think levy is happy about it one bit

It's one thing managing the likes of Barcelona and PSG and another managing Spurs. I'd rather get a sort of young up and coming manager who has shown to do well with a lesser club maybe more our level.
