Probably a bit cheeky and apologies if not allowed, but if anyone can spare a few pennies it would be massively appreciated.
My daughter has had spells of MH troubles and this is for MIND.
Probably have a heart attack / sh!t myself or both but I am 45 now and time to get out of the comfort zone to help others.

Not sure I will have my eyes open to see anything!!
--------------
keep yer eyes open...
perspective is another thing I should have mentioned... after the parachute opened, like I say, an odd silence in the clouds... but also, you can see the tree tops as you normally would look at a dandy lion... really odd... as you get closer and closer to the ground, those dandy lions in your view become the same size of the trees you were looking at only seconds / minutes before.
I'm looking forward to you posting about your experience
you just can't un see, or un feel what you do during that 5 / 6 minute descent.

I will be looking at as much as I possibly can - not something I am likely to ever do again and I have only heard positive feedback from people who have done so before me.
I will definitely let you know my thoughts after it has happened

Good morning all, so this was yesterday, and for those who asked / are interested, my thoughts!!
It was a good experience. Difficult to explain, but so many people said that it was the best experience of their lives, it almost felt a little bit underwhelming...never thought I would be saying that!
There were 8 of us plus tandems in the plane, once doors opened, we were shuffled out so quick, there cannot have been more than 5 to 10 seconds between each. The climb was slow, took about 20 minutes to 12,000 feet, all quiet and calm apart from some last minute instruction reminders. As I said, once the doors open, no time to panic as we were all out so quickly it was like watching people step off of a bus!
Free fall, 7000 feet in 35 seconds. Surreal. Wind noise and cold feeling on the face, but no real sensation of falling. Into the clouds, through the clouds, it wasn't thick but added to the experience.
Parachute opens, balls disappear up your backside with the rapid deceleration and total silence. A few spins to speed up the decent which again, felt like we weren't moving and therefore felt it lasted a lot longer than 5 minutes.
Soft landing.
Pub!
All good! X

Thanks mate. Reading it back, I sound as though I didn't enjoy it. I did. Just totally different to expectations. The only word I can really use is surreal. Almost impossible to explain, but you have done it so you'll know why I am struggling to word it for those that haven't. Have a good weekend.
