Labour focussed on governing with an eye on its voting pool!
In the 2024 election, Labour won 411 seats with just 33% of the national vote, much of that vote was lent out of utter dissatisfaction & disgust for what the Tories had done in their 14 years of power.
But 67% of the country either did not vote for them or didnt vote at all.
Making political decisions for the good of its potential voter base, not for the good of the country.
Much the same as the Tories before them
Breaking manifesto promises
Putting it's own ideology & personal interests before the benefit of the country
U turn after U turn
In an attempt to shaw up its rapidly deteriorating support
Basically this Labour party cannot lie straight in bed- Shameless
Cracking down on freedom of speech
Two tier Justice
Are Labour the new Nasty party?
Our politicians - Shameless

Oh damn! They were elected via corruption? Please tell us oh smart one, which party had a higher % of the UK population voting for them over Labour?

"Brexit?
My opinion is democracy must prevail, irrelevant of the outcome.
The remainers have refused to accept that democracy must prevail, the same will happen at the next election."
It's only democracy or legitimate when it suits
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree. I voted remain.
Brexiteers thought they were 'getting their sovereignty back', 'getting their country back'. People voted Brexit because they were spoonfed the hilarious notion that we'd all be better off. We'd take back control and all that nonsense led by Farage and Boris the great leaders of our times.
So Brexit happened and none of the above happened. Instead we're wrapped up in more bureaucratic red tape than ever. Farage may be a blight on this country, but he is really good at telling people what they want to hear, even if it's a lie / false.

Always odd how some people like OP can spend so long thinking and talking about stuff like this and make it their whole personality but still come to some really wild and silly conclusions.

Labour have not been brilliant. And I don't like the way Starmer sucks up to Trump like a puppy dog.
But it is still infinitely better than the Tories, or god forbid Reform.

Said it before....Nige' will be Emperor.....it is written
What has Starmer said about Trumps latest war stance which has little to do with him...bet he's backed it.
Watch out for sleeper cells causing carnage on US soil now

Haven't been brilliant is the understatement of the century. Labour have been utterly inept and ruinous so far and have made the woeful Tories look somehow competent. Are people that beaten down by terrible leadership that they're actually justifying these clowns in some way lol

Can you list some tangible things that have made the Tories look competent?
Is it the NHS waiting lists going down? Perhaps the investment in infrastructure? The better than expected growth? The taking to task of water companies?
Which things are you specifically talking about?

I would personally disagree with that quite strongly, I don't think they've been particularly inspired and the bar is low, but they're still much better than the openly crooked Tories who have been selling off public services to their mates who then gut them.
The country will be paying the price for years and years to come for that period of Tory leadership whereas we haven't experienced anything close to that under Starmer.
That said i am very disappointed by his stance on Israel and Iran, but i can't imagine it would be any better under the Tories either.

They really haven't though. You have been lapping up to much if the right wing press if you think that. They haven't been radical enough is what I was alluding to. Other than the winter fuel fiasco, they haven't actually done a lot wrong. Unless you think farmers sitting on £10 million pound assets, shouldn't pay taxes like the rest of us.
