Busy week incoming...

As June turns to July, we should see Arsenal very active in the transfer window.
Tomorrow will see the conclusion of a number of contracts with the club. Most have already been announced, but joining them will be Thomas Partey

Three signings are expected to be announced:
Kepa - a no-brainer for back up at £5m. With no cup tie issues or unavailability against the parent club - an improvement on the last 2 seasons. Only 30, so there is the potential for us to sell him for profit in the next couple of years too.

Martin Zubimendi - the first big money signing and the Thomas Partey direct replacement. A slightly different style defensive midfielder, how he blends with Rice and Odegaard will be key to our season.

Christian Norgaard - PL proven, tons of experience and cheap. The perfect cover for Zubimendi.

Hopefully this week will also see movement on the striker front. We will want to get our man before the tour begins. With clubs heading back for pre-season over the next couple of weeks it could be a fast moving story.

A winger and a young centre back are also on the wishlist.

Hopefully, for the sanity of the bedwetters, we have a very active start to July.

3 signings, 2 squad additions and one first teamer is a good start.
What is annoying though, is that Arsenal have had contact with the strikers we are linked with for over a year. Just what are they smoking

Sesko and Gyokeres both had "gentlemans agreements" with their clubs that have been ignored. It is a game of patience, no point overspending on either when in all likelihood we will soon get one for a decent price.

Pre-Season starts middle of July if i remember correct. I'd start to be annoyed if we don't have anyone (CF) signed by then.

With our PL start we need to make sure the team starts the season well and if we sign a striker a week before the season that to me is not good prep for a new season.

I also think we made a decent start to the transfer window so far. Now that Thomas Partey is leaving we have his replacement in place already.

This the Kepa signing is a genius move. Guy knows his role and for a fee of 5M I won't complain.

If we dont sign a striker until mid July I begin to worry. Also the Rodrygo situation needs to be sorted soon. We can not wait endlessly.

If the rumors of Bayern being interested in Martinelli are true i'd sell for 50-60Mil and get both Rodrigo and Eze.
