Alan Peacock

Probably the best header of a ball, Leeds ever
signed?! Corners and free kicks and the crowds
were always expectant of a goal, when Peacock
jumped!

Wouldn’t be one of the mainstays in Leeds history,
but he was a good player, no doubt about that.
I can still see him as centre forward soaring to head
the ball…another Leeds player gone to head the ball
in heaven!
Good memories, Alan…RIP

Yeah, I probably didn’t do him justice in my original
post…made his name at Middlesbrough, played
for England as well.

RIP. I remember him. Great header of a ball.

Shame to hear he had been battling dementia since 2018, his family have helped raise awareness by speaking about how he was coping with the disease.

I knew of him before, not much like, but knew he was earlier in Revie years and hell of a header of a bal 👍
