The legend that is Denis Villeneuve has signed up to make the next Bond movie which is promising as the last couple of Bond films were underwhelming.
The supposed three men in the frame are..
Jacob Elordi
Tom Holland
Harris Dickinson
I would have preferred Idris Elba or Henry Cavill but I guess when going for a younger Bond those three are more age appropriate. Out of the three it’s a solid no for Tom Holland. Jacob is Aussie so I have some allegiance and he’s great in Euphoria and as Elvis in the Priscilla movie but I am a huge fan of Harris Dickinson and think he’s the next big thing. Absolutely sensational in Babygirl and the Triangle of Sadness.
Either of those two for me. Who would y’all choose or anyone not mentioned?
The next James Bond

Rob I had a browse of Harris Wilkinson on IMDB
Gonna give County Lines ago after watching the trailer
The trailer after though was freaking awesome, looks like Running Man’s gonna be film of the year
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, another remake of an 80's film.
Has the film industry totally run out of ideas ?????
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I dont think its a remake ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the plot is exactly the same:-
The Running Man is an upcoming dystopian black comedy action film film co-written, produced and directed by Edgar Wright, based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Stephen King (under his pseudonym Richard Bachman). It is the second adaptation of the book following the 1987 film and stars Glen Powell, William H. Macy, Lee Pace, Emilia Jones, Michael Cera, Daniel Ezra, Sean Hayes, Jayme Lawson, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ahh I thought you were talking about county lines, apologies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The new running man won't be a remake of 'Arnie's film' and is a different adaptation, but of course being based on the book, there has to be some similarities. But I think it will definitely have a different feel to it...............not like say 'How to train your Dragon' which is basically just a copy

Yes they have, hence re-makes, re-boots, re-tooled ideas.
Even Star Wars episode VII was a remake of Star Wars episode IV

Edgar Wright is a top notch director so I have faith. I saw the trailer for the new Odyssey movie today from Chris Nolan and whilst he’s rarely let me down before I just haaaaate how he’s put Jon Bernthal in a role he seems so unsuited for

There's no real hiding place / middle ground when making that type of comedy - you either get it spot on and produce a great movie, or it is total garbage, and usually the latter.

Really? Genuinely every single person I know in person or on online forums thinks it looks genius. The ‘manslaughter’ ‘man’s laughter’ joke is possibly the best dad joke I’ve seen in forever.
It’s going to be a huge box office success imo

I saw the trailer a couple of weeks back and was not overly impressed to put it lightly. It may turn out to be funny but I won't be holding my breath!

For anyone that wants to see the trailer here it is. Deadpan humour is my all time favourite 😹
