Hello footy fans,
after such an awful event today and such a terrible loss of an admirable man and excellent footballer, i felt a post for us to share some of the memories of Diogo we have , would be a nice tribute.
He was the most natural and instinctive finisher ive seen since a certain Robbie Fowler was in our red shirt!
His work ethic and pressing reminded me of Bobby Firmino and apparently his positivity and personality were a huge part of the dressing room atmosphere.
i remember being surprised when the announcement of our negotiations for him was made public. But the more i saw of him, the more it made sense.
It was a shame the injuries began to occur. i was hoping this preseason he could regain his fitness and start the season at full steam.
For me, the final goal he scored for Liverpool is so definitively and typically Jota!

Loved his 4th goal in the 4-3 Vs Spurs, just after Richarlison did his pigeon dance...then seconds later Jota sticks the ball in the net calmly sits down and Richarlison has his hands on his head😅😅😅...thank you Jota, ledge ❤️❤️

i remember that match.cracking viewing on MOTD. Mustve been awesome atmosphere! Nuno really had that team purring going fwd and Jota was a big part of that
