Not going to lie but 80 mil for that striker seems like a poor bit of business. Is they guy even any good. One season with average goals stats in a weak league and we splash pot 80 mil on him seems crazy

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I watch Frankfurt but from the YouTube clips I do have some concerns.

Some of the touches look horrible.

Seen some clips of Ekitike this morning.

Why is he costing 80m? Nunez is a more reliable finisher than this guy.

Thats the thing. His control looks bad. I am all.for signing a striker but this seems bad frm money perspective. The only positive I can keep is that Edwards usually gets his signing spot on.

Yep. If the transfer team are happy with him then so am I. They obviously see something.

In fairness to Liverpool they’ve gotten most transfers right since the Klopp days so he’s probably good but Isak would have almost have guaranteed another title next season.

I had a look at Ekitike when we were linked and he seems very raw, sort of signing i have become used to us making where its more for potential.

His numbers were good for Frankfurt but not as good as Nunez was pulling off for Benfica before you joined you

Probably a bit of a work in progress that will take some time to bed in
