I was another one taken in understandably by Joseph early doors after Chelsea away and was convinced he'd smash it in the Championship last season but then saw his performances dramatically dip with an appalling first touch and lack of composure in front of goal happening far too often which I know strikers can have dry spells and lose confidence but I just now think the pressure and expectation that goes with wearing the Leeds shirt has weighed too heavy on the young mans shoulders.

I think there is potentially a good player there but he needs to get regular games and experience to rectify those weaknesses which I'm sure he can do but like Spanish says we haven't got time to wait 2 or 3 years and could do with the cash his sale would generate to help fund the Muniz deal along with a keeper and probably one more whether that's a Solomon type left sided winger or a versatile left back/wingback I don't know but I think with Stach almost done and dusted for new signing number six I expect Farke is looking for 3 more after that before the transfer window shuts.

Yep, shame about MJ. He, along with many of us, were excited at the start of last season as his ‘breakout’ season. Sadly, it fizzed and burned. If he does get another chance with us this season, I hope it works out for the lad … however, by the looks of things (ADRITK), he’s burnt his bridges with DF.

… oh, and whilst I’m at it (ooh-err missus) … referencing the double-entendre above … the phrase ‘two jerks and a squirt’ comes to mind. However, I’ll leave it to the fine folks of JA606 to decide who the jerks are, and who the squirt is😁.

I don't blame Joseph too much for that. It's frustrating watching Farke's lack of rotation/minutes for subs as a fan. Can only imagine what it can be like for a player at times.

My opinion changed on Joseph, in the Wednesday match, I held him in high regard until then, Aaronson is working hard to score a goal for us and Joseph can be seen spinning round like he's a yoyo in the background, clearly trying to cheat to get us a penalty.
I thought, I don't like your attitude young man.

I see Joseph has asked for a transfer wants to ideally play in Spain.

Completely understand why he wants to leave and frustrated with Farke.

But absolutely no right to refuse to train. Should always turn up

Joseph had plenty of gametime in comparison to Cresswell. He failed to impress throughout last season. Lot of raw strengths, but didn't see the application, and was very clearly out of it second half of the season. Seems like now he had probably had his head turned.
