Hamer

Why on earth are we not in for him?
With him last season we would have probably had at least ten more goals.
Free kicks would have found our players or gone straight in rather than being played square or back as we usually did. That plus at least a handful of goals from himself. Not to mention corners that reach or don’t overreach the box.
PL experience not dramatic but ok. He has class and quality, just go get him please.

Think we are aiming higher. I would be happy to sign him but El Khannouss is definitely a better option.

An awful lot of teams after him.
If we couldn't sign Paixao with only Marseille
In for him this looks less likely.

Yeah maybe so. But club clearly aiming higher than Hamer at the moment. Gamer could end up being the one we sign and seen as an available alternative should we fail with the preferred options.

Think if you're signing players that no other club wants then that's a concern. Need to be aiming for players that other good teams would like to sign, but convince them we are a good project.

I watched the play off final again the other day and Hamer was miles ahead of anyone else on that pitch including Bellingham who has just been sold for silly money and only when Hamer went off did Sunderland make a game of it and actually Hamer's lack of pace
which has been a concern for many was surprisingly not
an issue and in fact he was actually no slouch in setting
up Shef Utd's goal so I definitely think Hamer can make
the step up to the EPL and make a major contribution
and if we don't sign him I'm sure a Burnley or Everton or
Brentford will and he could then come back to hurt us.
