Rasmus

Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano
AC Milan have started discussing via intermediaries numbers of Rasmus Højlund deal.

Understand these are details: €6m loan fee, €45m buy option clause, salary covered.

No green light to exit from the player yet, as Højlund insists on staying even after 0 minutes today.

Getting Rashford and Rasmus completely off the wage books is grate business by the club but ideally I’d have liked both of them sold off.

I wish Rasmus would take the hint though, and if we do get rid I’m hoping that’s the green light for us to sign a midfielder.

Tbh the way the club are treating him is very low class. My biggest gripe with this new United is how they treat people. Zero regard for any player or any member of staff on a human level. Very low class behaviour.

Hojlund seems to be taking the snub like a professional and if he wants to stay and fight for his place well done to him. Looks like he’s ready to stay even if it means very little game time.

Feel sorry for the lad because he clearly has the right attitude unlike some of the others we are looking to off load. It could be argued he's been a victim of the the overall lack of quality and creativity in the team last season as it struggled to come to term with Amorims system. He looked a lad totally bereft of confidence at the end of last season. I'd personally give him next season as a back up to sesko but today shows amorim wants rid

A loan may be the best for all parties right now.

He’s not intelligent enough to play the number 9 in Amorims system, so what’s the point in keeping him even as a back up? It was quite evident towards the end of last season that Chido was far more adept in the role.

Not the worst player in the world but certainly one of our worst striker signings of the post SaF era. Genuinely looked like a deer in the headlights and one of those rare occasions I was right about a signing

I hope I’m wrong on Sesko (I don’t rate him) however

Another option to buy that won’t be taken up

It’s a good deal on paper but I don’t have much confidence in Rasmus to make them want to pay the fee to sign him at the end.

Well probably be trying to shift Zirkzee or Sesko by next summer so there will be other options out there for tight fckin Italian clubs to do another loan deal for.

Imagine trying to shift Sesko next summer. I'd never trust this club to buy a striker ever again.
