If we sell Kiwior I think we should just go and get Guehi. I am sure he will be up for joining his mate Eze.

Think Liverpool being really cheeky with Isak. Bid once and disrupted the club and turned the player.
It been almost 2 week i think since that bid and no other bid has been placed.
If they want him just stump up the 150Mil that Newcastle want if make another bid closer to that amount. (I think the first bid was 100-110Mil)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh fack off
Club makes a bid
Bid is rejected
Club makes no further move and looks elsewhere.
Do you go through life with your head up your ass?

It has seemed a dead cert that Guehi will end up with us but I'm really not so sure now. Could well see him elsewhere as we're being very slow with our activity at the back end of this window.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Will all kick off after this weekend I'd expect. I'd say its 90% likely Guehi & Isak will be at Liverpool
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I think we'll end up with both. There's always a flurry of movement towards the end of a summer window, and Isak was never going to move before we played them. Newcastle will get at least one striker in even if it's a loan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle should stand their ground and tell him he'sstill under contract and staying put and not allow clubs like Liverpool to think they can do what they like.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's not really how the football world works though.

He'd have a decent chance if Konate puts in many more performances like he did a week ago

Konate is injury prone anyway.
He signed for us in 2021 and has made 83 appearances
Was with Leipzig for 4 seasons and appeared 66 times
We need consistency

Is your manager going to promise him that? Written into the contract because he can earn double the money if he leaves on a free next season.

Newcastle can evaluate him at 150M but they have to face reality, he doesn't want to play for them and 110 M is a lot of money.
Imo Liverpool would be stupid to go much higher and Newcastle would be crazy not to sell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reality is he's a Newcastle player and they can value him how they like. He's not going to sit out for a season during a World Cup year and he'll be worth just as much next summer still with 2 years left on his contract.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The World Cup year commenters might be valid if he wasn’t by a mile their country’s best striker.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Well he's been quite easily outscored in a Swedish shirt by his strike partner for the last couple of years... And before you bite, no I am not saying Gyokeres is a better striker, but it might not be as clear cut as you are suggesting if he hasn't kick a ball for a season.
If he's not sold he'll eventually and reluctantly come back into the fold.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
One thing is 100% sure is that Isak plays first team football this season. If he does stay his PR man will do a social media apology and all is forgiven when he scores

Sometimes it does but not often enough though Spurs did have a taste of it few weeks ago with Nottingham forest.

Must have missed Sweden qualifying for the World Cup...

That one goal more in twice as many games really doing some massive lifting here
