Forest v Crystal Palace Match Thread

There is so little Forest traffic through this site that this is my last match thread.

Just when Forest look to have righted the ship, kept MGW and recruited well and expensively, Nuno starts rocking the boat again.
It's not unreasonable that Forest left a lot of spending until they knew which Euro' competition they were playing in.

With an unsettled manager and squad who knows what will happen tomorrow?

Palace shaded the half I think. Things not quite coming off for Forest. Aina, N’Doye and Sangare need to do a bit more. CHO coming off his wing allowing Neco to overlap seems to be a ploy for Forest.

We seemed a bit passive in the first half, soft goal to conceded, MGW flick gives possession away in a very dangerous area, then no one track Sarr. At 1-0 we are definitely capable of a point, concede again and its probably game over.

Cracking ending to that game, could have been 2-1 to us in added time alone.
We looked decent, certainly didn’t deserve to lose.
Take a point, onto the Hammers next week, definitely winnable, if all calms down off the pitch.

Fair result. Both sides had chances to win it late on. Mcatee the pick of the debutants.

What a horrible bunch of whiners palace are. Moaned about every decision! They need someone to take responsibility on and off the pitch. Nothing is their fault and they can’t do anything wrong! They were 1-0 nil up and showed no leadership or fight. They were supposed to be the home team. Their chairmen needs to be a leader and instead he has folded and lost his head. Not standing up to be counted.

Forest on the other hand came out second half dominated the game and should have won it really!

Not a bad result away to a side that has beaten city City for the cup and Liverpool to the Charity Shield is. Throw in a little anger towards us from their fans. Let’s thrash the Hammers next Sunday.

Excellent assist from Dan Ndoye and a cool finish by Callum Hudson-Odoi 👏. Near misses from Igor Jesus & Omari Hutchinson. Hope that wasn’t a farewell from Nuno at the end… 🤞

That’s now 4 straight draws at Selhurst Park since we came back up.

COYR 🔴🌳

If we drew them in a Cup competition at Selhurst Park, we’d may as well scrap the 90 mins and extra time and go straight to pens.
