Is it - yet again - naive and wishful thinking on my behalf that, once Thursday’s game against Frederickstad which, hopefully for them, Palace win and progress in the UEFA conference, the issue as to whether or not Guehi is coming to us, and I hope he does, is resolved?

I'd say there's a decent chance. Steve Parish seemed to imply it could happen himself.

Im guessing yes, I "think" the deal is done and it's just until the time is right, Parish has pretty much said hes not going for free hence either now ish or in jan.
We are ok at the mo even until Jan really:

Leoni
Endo can also play there. Enough until Jan if necessary imo.

Guehi will get done.
Isak, i'm not so sure on. Liverpool's need isn't so great now with Ekitike being the standout signing so far.
No reason to pay 150m now at the very least.
