While ever Farke remains in charge of the club, there’s only one way this season ends. And so now it begins, the horrible juxtaposition of wanting us to win matches and pick up points but knowing it’s only delaying the inevitable, and thinking that the cure of a few defeats in a row before it’s too late is the best solution.
I hate this feeling. I hate the fact that Farke can’t sort this out. I hate the seemingly rubbish investments we’ve made on a lot of players this pre season (based on evidence so far, of which Arsenal and Wednesday were pretty damming).
And I would love to be wrong. Love for Farke to pick his best eleven. Love to see some tactical nous. Love to see some variation on sub policy. Love to see us linked with an exciting and game changing player and actually go out and get them, rather than be pipped to the post by some seemingly random team.
Love to not be the same old predictable Leeds United that we all know and, well, love. Arghhhhh!
And so it begins…

Take it easy Macca, for gawds sake!
The comments and threads are like watching and
reading the play Macbeth…
Even worse the film Titanic…we’re all doomed!

😂 I know NJS it's silly only a game and all that and actually I have stopped thinking of ringing the Samaritans as I've just taken delivery of a beautiful Fender Strat Jimmy Hendrix edition so got plenty to district me now... that and my Smiths and Leonard Cohen albums to cheer me up... Onwards and upwards! 😊

Leonard Cohen to cheer you up?
Macca you must be depressed.
He's from my hometown and I love his music but its not exactly a pick me upper. My favorite song of his is Everybody knows, not at all cheerie but kind of fits our situation.

Breaking news.... I'm no good guys with emojis so just to confirm I don't actually own any Smiths or Leonard Coen
albums as although I can appreciate their musicianship I prefer to listen to stuff a little more uplifting like The Grateful Dead.... whoops sorry joking again... I've got the Eagles greatest hits on as I type this and Hotel California playing... love that song and the lyrics wow... "we are programmed to receive, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave".... very Leeds that me thinks!

Agree NJS….my comments to a Leeds WhatsApp group I’m on were very similar. A load
of new signings in a training exercise. And we have some really making out this is an indication that Farke needs to go and we will be relegated?
Let’s see what happens this weekend. Elland Rd against the lower half teams has always been our route to survival.

Fair do’s but like many he never posted when we beat Everton.

Was watching it with my old man - so I don’t get my phone out usually. And, while I’ll watch all games to the end, he’s a bit too long in the tooth having endured Leeds for decades so will wanna turn it off and go to bed if it looks like a forlorn situation. Therefore I normally pick the games we’ve got a decent chance in to go round and watch it with him. That’s probably why it might look a little biased cos I’m usually watching the defeats either on my own or with my lad who doesn’t mind the phone being out so much.
On the Everton game, was pleased with the passion, pleased with the result, thought we looked lightweight up front again, and was worried they were gonna snatch it on the break. There’s a lot of people who support Farke. I get that. There’s a lot who don’t for many reasons. I get that too and I’m one of them. Batty said in another post that he’s likeable - he is and I’d love him to prove me wrong and I’ll come on and say so if he does - but I just don’t think he’s capable of it and I worry that we’ll leave it too late to make the change, hence the frustration. Guess time will tell, eh? MOT

Thanks - appreciate that. I get frustrated by certain stuff and I think a couple of things in particular that Stoops and I disagree on (Farke, Meslier situation). Tried to explain the Everton situation (and more generally) below so thanks again for backing me up. Appreciated.
