Forest went early and replaced Nuno Santo with Ange Postecloglu following a 3-0 defeat to West Ham - although it was off the field issues that really brought the downfall.
4 games in, other managers look very shaky in their positions.
Graham Potter is the evens favourite to be the next man to leave. West Ham have had a poor start, bar the aforementioned hammering of Forest, and the weekend loss to Spurs will have hurt the already fuming fanbase. Their anger is more at the owners in reality, but with London derbies against Palace and Arsenal and a trip to Evertons new stadium, Potter needs results and performances.
Ruben Amorim is second favourite at around 5/2. A Manc derby rudderless defeat pushed the fans patience to the very edge, and them having to watch their rivals in the Champions League will irritate them even more. A home defeat to unbeaten Chelsea next week will increase the pressure, with games against Brentford and Sunderland before the international break. Will United go to Anfield with a new man in charge after the October internationals?
Being pointless after 4 games for an established Premier League club is always going to bring the vultures, and Vitor Pereira is hanging on. Jose Mourinho is being tipped for a potential return to the Premier League at a Wolves side with strong Portuguese links. 5/1 for VP to leave next, a home game with Leeds could be crucial.
That game will also find another of the favourites for the chop take charge. At 8/1, Daniel Farke doesn't seem in immediate danger and the win over Everton and draw with Newcastle are decent results. The pain of an injury time defeat on Saturday will sting, but Farke surely has a lot of credit.
Despite only just joining, Ange Postecoglu is 10/1. This probably says more about the owner than the manager. Oliver Glasner at 14/1 is probably more based on him getting a better job, although the rumours he threatened to quit if Guehi was sold also puts doubt in the mind.
4 games without scoring, Aston Villa have had a nightmare start after a difficult summer. Missing out on the Champions League on the final day of last season has hit them hard along with PSR rules. As such, Unai Emery attracts interest in this market at 14/1. A trip to Sunderland sandwiched between an EFL Cup tie with Brentford and a Europa against Bologna are upcoming and Emery will need a turn around in fortune otherwise pressure will ramp up. He is also one of the names in the running for the Old Trafford role.
Keith Andrews was a pre-season favourite for the sack, but Saturdays 2-2 draw with Chelsea plus a win over Villa have eased some of the fears. Scott Parker came into the season with a lot of credit in the bank and although they only have 3 points they will look at trips to the THFC stadium and Old Trafford and yesterdays agonising defeat to Liverpool with a level of optimism. 16/1 for the pair seems at this point poor bets.
Between 28/1 and 40/1 you can find Enzo Maresca, Fabian Hurzeler, Marco Silva, Pep Guardiola and Eddie Howe. 50/1 for Mikel Arteta to leave his role is far shorter than it has been for a few years, and is the same as Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris and Everton man David Moyes. Thomas Frank is 66/1, while you can get 80/1 for Andoni Iraola - potentially good odds if you can see a decent European team sacking their man and targeting him. Arne Slot is 100/1.
My money is on a Portuguese manager to go, but not the one at Manchester United. Wolves have lost 7 and drawn 1 of their last 8 PL games and lost key players during the summer. Difficult games against Spurs (a) and Brighton (h) follow Leeds and a cup tie with Everton are before the international break. Following Octobers break Wolves have a run of games against teams they hope to finish above - Sunderland, Burnley and Fulham. Could they go into them with a new boss? There seem genuine replacement options available, Vitor Periera has a short term contract and Wolves are not shy of sacking a boss.

There's no gimmes in the PL anymore

There is one "gimme", but it happens to be against the one PL team we don't get to play. Pretty unlucky really.

VP is making horrible decisions constantly but I am not convinced Fosun are ready to sack another guy just yet. Think VP on current form would still get til November.
