Six games played, and I am going to argue we have been much better than perhaps people actually think we have!
The six games played so far are listed below with each one accompanied by a quick synopsis:
Bournemouth - Played 4 games in the league and only lost ONCE, to Liverpool; the cherries have also beaten Spurs AND Brighton and are a very very good side, they sit 5th in the table and could go 2nd with a win today, the 4-2 win against them at Anfield can now be put into perspective!
Newcastle away - Given the context of this game, the way the whole stadium was how do you say, "up for it" the result was impressive. Make no mistake any win away at St James park is very very hard to get, especially given the atmosphere around the game when we played them. This was a great result!
Arsenal - Everyone pretty much agrees the main challengers, hard to beat and now supposedly have the "missing piece" striker. Some were predicting Arsenal would not only win the title BUT would beat Liverpool at Anfield to "make a statement". Liverpool won 1-0....Arsenal hardly threatened, Liverpool were quite tame also but crucially Liverpool won the game....Arsenal as per Bournemouth have only lost one game....to Liverpool, reoccurring theme huh!
Burnley - At home to lets face it, a team that in this game essentially played 11 players inside the 18yard box for 95 minutes! Again, we won the game and were called "lucky" and Burnley unlucky! It doesn't matter, teams who come and play like Burnley did defensively are hard to beat; ask Arsenal fans about last season! It was a very good win.
Everton - The derby, we all know what this game means and prior to this game a lot were anticipating Everton to take at least a point; they didn't, they lost and for all Evertons 2nd half play the hardly threatened, i think 2 shots on goal for the whole game, for visibility Liverpool only had 3 i think...but we scored with 2 of them! A very good win in a tricky game.
A Madrid - They have played 5 games and lost twice, once to us and once to Espanyol. We should know it's difficult to beat them especially in Europe, again we won with a header late in the game, but this was a difficult team to beat but we did another terrific win.
All of the above games should also be looked at with the context of Liverpool losing players such as TAA and L Diaz who were first team starters and of great quality, add in two new fullbacks and a new array of attacking talent to integrate and the 100% winning run is astonishing; Liverpool are being given nowhere near the credit for what they have done so far.
Let's not forget Liverpool had 3 games in 7 days, for the Derby Everton had a full week to prepare, as for Liverpool...well we had ONE full day to prepare, taking into account the day after A Madrid is always a rest day(the Thursday). Even more remarkable we won the game VS Everton!
It doesn't get easier, in the league...guess what! It's C Palace AWAY who have yet to lose a league game and played the likes of Villa, CFC and N Forest....another really tough game. Win this and I think our rivals will be mentally shredded!

💯 , the points raised above even further reinforce how superb Liverpool have "actually" been.
