Mason Mount

This chap has (quite unfairly in my opinion) come under a lot of flack from Utd fans since he joined the club.

For me, the potential has always been there. The injuries have naturally been frustrating. But a small light in Ruben's tenure has been his treatment of Mason and I now feel it is beginning to bear fruit.

When fit, Mount is technically excellent, has good energy to support the press and will be a big part of anything good we do this season.

I hope the haters will at least give him a chance to prove them wrong, and accept that he has probably been one of of best players this season.
