No way would we want mcliesh back and his negative football.
I couldn't be happier that he is now serving that dross up across the city at Vile park.

CH appears to be settling in really well now, 3 wins on the trot and I feel a real sense that we could do OK in Bruges on Thursday
Also, unlike McLeish he has the ability to change games. We generally play better second half and his substitutions are more subtle, we felt that McLeish sometimes let it too late, like vs Everton last season at St Andrews.
On the other hand McLeish is good in the transfer market and improves his players over time. He will make you well organised and defensively very good but because the full backs and wingers don't push on much it can be dull to watch.

I just hope that we sign CH up to a longer contract as he is only on a 1 year rolling contract and look what happened with Mark Hughes in the summer!

As per Blackrose's comment, CH has the ability to change games.
How many times under Bruce and McLeish did the players come out second half having had their cocoa.
Totally different now.
I do think fans have to be realistic though. The game has been destroyed by money, and only those big clubs will take the silverware - unless there's a fluke like last season . Therefore we have to enjoy our victories, and hopefully half decent football and a few goals. Sadly, for Villa fans, decent football and goals will be at a premium!

Ray, why are you sad that the villa no longer see goals or decent football, I am quiet happy at that thought!
