This is what F1 is all about.

Vettel & Webber crashes:

Hamilton has not been in half as blantant dangerous moves as the two Red Bull boys but he gets more criticisms. It's known a lot of people just want Lewis to fail or quit F1, including his team mate and Whitmarsh.

But let's get things into perspective, F1 is all about racing and always will be. When Senna died, it was the safety of the car that killed him, not his aggressive racing style. Hamilton is not Senna, he's Hamilton. If Webber was in the same car as what they drove in the 90's i doubt he'd of survived his near fatal collision.

The stewards should just let Hamilton race, it's now 7 racing investigations in 7 races and it's fast becoming a farce. I'm sure being all over 40's and Caucasian has something to do with their consistent targeting of him.

At least Martin Brundle has come out to some extent and said Button rammed Lewis into the wall and took him out.

(I don't agree that it was more Hamilton's fault than Button's. Jenson clearly knew Lewis was there after he was slow exiting the final chicane - his head tilts twice as he is watching Lewis hard in his mirrors.)

Now that Vettel has clearly won WDC, it's a fight for 2nd, stewards/safety car should just let us see these guy go at it full tilt or we might as well fast forward to 2012.

I think the racing at Montreal and Monte Carlo has been fantastic.

I haven't seen anything wrong with what Lewis Hamilton has done.

Formula 1 is becoming less about racing and driving skill and more about poor tyres and gimmicks like KERS and DRS. Just look how easy Jenson Button and Mark Webber got past Michael Schumacher yesterday.

I wouldn't entirely declare Vettel as World Champion just yet as the McLaren has seemed to have been the faster race car in Canada and Monaco. Had Massa not crashed in Monaco Jenson Button could have easily have won there too.

In conclusion, I would prefer proper tyres, no KERS or DRS, less races on new, flat, boring tracks. Would love to see a return to Long Beach in the US.

I'm already getting tired of this.

"It's known a lot of people just want Lewis to fail or quit F1, including his team mate and Whitmarsh."

"At least Martin Brundle has come out to some extent and said Button rammed Lewis into the wall and took him out."

What planet are you on? Hamilton planet?

At least write something constructive and worth debating before people like you ruin this site like the old 606.

I remembered Webber's summersault last year. Also, Vetel's Spa accident. Those were more dangerous and rekless. Hamilton's racing accident mostly happens around the chicanes meaning risk of severity is very low. What is different between Hamilton/Button to Button/Alonso. What about Diresta in Monaco. How about the fact that both Hamilton and Massa raced down the tunnel before Massa hit the walls. Look at the clip again and Hamilton did not push Massa aside. These in my opinion are racing incidents. Calling for Hamilton's head is a bit over the top reaction to be honest. If Hamilton quits F1 today, most folks including myself would loose interest in F1 altogether. I spoke with a friend the other day and it was surprising how many people stopped watching the Canada grand prix after Hamilton crashed out. You have every right to dislike Hamilton but don't call him dangerous unless the driver you support has never been involved in an accident before.
