Well Alex, it looks like Ipswich need Sharp because I heard that Chopra bet Jewell they would beat Millwall and he would score the winning goal. I gather the taxi driver is the one who took Chopra to the addiction clinic.
By the way Chopra's running a book on when Sharp arrives.

Canadian
He'll be able to look at it in years to come and think "Who was he?"

With all the contributors to this forum who are allegedly in the know it is strangely quiet on the Sharp situation.

My brother, not a Sean supporter, said after watching the tripe dished up today, bring back Sean. I never thought I would hear him say that.
I told him to give DS time Sean is a very hard act to
follow and it's far too early to write DS off

JR saying the town was full of Leeds fans was very odd and something of a side-swipe at fans in general. That is uncharacteristic and suggests that he may be looking for an excuse to get out. The supporters at DRFC are the last people he should be criticising; we have largely backed the management and board despite setbacks and behaved exemplarily compared with the usual behaviour in such situations and cannot be blamed for what has gone wrong.
All that has happened on this new plan so far is Illunga holds his place (in the shop window) despite not even being fit and players whom many of us rated, like Mason, Coppinger, Dumbaya and O'Connor are relegated to the bench. How must they feel?
With the McKay player reservoir looking dried up and the faithful SOD troops decidedly demotivated what is the plan now?.
I am looking for something to feel encouraged about and cannot find it at the moment.

I thought Ilunga made a huge difference in toughening up what has previously been a weak midfield and we looked fairly solid apart from the odd mistake. Thought we lost our spark after bennet was brought off.

OK first of all
Congratulations to DBA - hope you both had a wonderful day and enjoy a great life together
About the game - 2 poor teams who unless something changes will be scrapping it out to avoid relegation BUT I did see positives after the Portsmouth debacle - there we just rolled over, at least yesterday we started to scrap for points
I find the constant saying 'the current players are not good enough' slightly bemusing (take that as ridiculous) As Fuzzy said they're under a lot of pressure now and if thats not enough, look at the other factors
New manager
Issues at boardroom level
changing the team every other game
People insisted O'Driscoll wasn't good enough and should be sacked or resign, now thats happened the same people say the players aren't good enough yet several of those players had interest shown from other Championship clubs
We need a settled team starting games, Saunders first 3 games had a settled team and got 7 points. I would imagine the McKay influence will be felt more effectively in January so until then we have to scrap for points
