Perspective.

Ok, we're in a pretty parlous state (lovely word, parlous, isn't it?).
We're down in the kaka, heading fizzy-popwards.

It's not that bad there, and let's face it the Prem sucks. Just think, no more sneaky Gerrard, vile Terry, sly Suarez, pathetic Tevez, moaning Wenger.
No more bloated greedy overseas owners, who hadn't seen a game before they arrived, buying titles like spoilt brats.

Anyway, it isn't over. I'm not over impressed with OC myself at the moment, but it is actually true that we've had an awful run with injuries and the shocking run of early fixtures (which would have knocked the stuffing out of anyone). I think he'll turn it around- there is easily enough dross just above us to give us a chance.

Some on here are getting in a proper flap, suggesting we panic and sack the manager as soon as the going gets tough, acting, in effect, like so many of the idiotic owners we see too many of these days.

Honestly, get a grip.

Of course you fully support this article.

It uses negative language ("prior to the latest capitulation", makes an unfair comparison to show Coyle in an unfair light (the comparison with Phil Brown's teamtalk on the pitch) and is an opinion piece and makes lots of unsupported negative statements ("lost the ability to influence his players", "out of his depth".

Coyle explaining in a press conference that players will sometimes get dropped if he doesn't feel they are performing well is only a negative thing if you are looking for reasons to criticise.

The article is right up your street. I'm glad you had a good read.

BTW for some reason the text parser on this board has added smilies to my last post instead of closed brackets. Please ignore the smilies.

You may find it is difficult to right positive things. I bought my season ticket to watch Bolton play. So far it's not happened. I hope that changes on Sunday as I like watching bolton win. It means I can watch motd buy a Sunday paper and just generally feel a bit better on a Saturday evening. Maybe them days will come back. Just not seen any sign of that at all.

Fair enough, I think we're all hoping for some cheer in the Sunday papers

Hat after watching tonight's game Stoke look beatable. They also have euro game midweek. Time for a result and revenge.

You never know, beating Stoke could exorcise a ghost in the players' minds. We're pretty much all agreed that THAT day at Wembley was the start of our slump.

They were poor tonight and they have a European game on Thursday too. Maybe we're having a little bit of luck. You know what they say, when you're at the bottom you need a bit of luck to turn things around.

Your right but slump began at old trafford when Holden got done by cowards tackle from evans.

If I was Coyle, I'd be taking tonight's game apart and showing just how beatable Stoke are. Make em all sit through various screenings.
