Well my reason was even more stupid. He failed me first time for not slowing down when there were people walking across the road. I missed them by a metre or two, what's the problem?

I failed my first test after nearly taking the back end off the car in front when attempting a reverse park.

To make matters worse, my theory test certificate was only valid for another few days, but I thought my luck had changed when I managed to get another test booked for the last day the certificate was valid.

Unfortunately, it was the only day that year that every test got cancelled due to the weather conditions. I had to resit my theory test, the recently introduced hazard perception thingy and then eventually passed at the 2nd time of asking.
