Good Lord! If you can't tell the difference between a normal punter betting on a match and a participant of that match doing the same then there really is no hope for you.

I can see where u are taking this Viru but betting in the UK is normally above board but that can't be said about the far east and sub cont. a friend of mine got 2 years for fraud and we are talking millions so if these guys get more then that would be harsh justice. The problem is everyone wants to see the harshest sentence and muppets like Beefy calling for the maximum doesn't help. I hope Amir just gets a suspended sentence after all he admitted before hand and i remember what I was like when I was 17-18 and would be easily influenced by elders.

The prison time will not be for 'cheating' it will be for corruption which is a very serious offense.

Teach them a lesson.

A prison sentance is a must in my eyes, for 2 reasons, firstly they deserve it and secondly it'll hopefully stop future players thinking its the way things should be done!

Ban Pakistan cricket for an entire generation in order to clean out the cancer with-in and the dirty low life grubs still involved........10-15 years ban for the entire country.

Nonsense, all that's needed is for the PCB to put life bans on these players to show they mean business.
